Ossi-Petteri Grönholm is a tough defence man. Last season the physical Grönholm played in SaiPa and he has advanced a great deal in his game. The strong man likes to tackle and gives his all night after night.

Last season in SaiPa Grönholm played 45 matches and scored 17 points (4+13). This coming season he will reach the limit of 300 games in the league.

The 27-year-old player from Kotka started his career in Titaanit in 1998. He played his first game in the Finnish National League in Pelicans (season 2001-2002). From Lahti he was transferred to Lappeenranta where he played for three seasons. Last spring Grönholm played in Frölunda in Sweden.
