The 23-year-old Juho Keränen is living his dream and is achieving for a breakthrough on the league ice. The arrogant and physical forward played a good training season and got a contract with Kärpät and a possibility to develop as a player.

Keränen’s game has pleased the fans. Keränen likes to tackle hard and tease the opponent. He played his debut game in Kärpät in the fall of 2005 (18 games in the league).

Keränen, who was born in Keitele, played in Oulu since he was an A junior. Three years ago Keränen went to Hokki in Kajaani. He became one of the most trusted players of the team and with the team he won a gold medal and a silver medal. He has played over 40 Junior National games.
